We went to Oregon this past week for a job interview for Ben. It was a trip of many "1st's." It was our first time to Corvallis, OR and Ben's first PA job interview; the first time in a hotel with Maria; Maria's first time to the beach and on a plane (and she did great!).
We went to the coast for a day. It was beautiful. We had a relaxing day walking along the beaches and hiked on some trails and checked out some pretty cool tide pools. Lucky for us, we had the yummiest SALMON chowder and Ben got his greasy fish n chips. (I had some too, but Ben starts salivating even before he eats the food as he dumps a load of vinegar and salt on it.)

Oregon looks beautiful. It doesn't seem like it would be a bad place to live for a while. I love Maria in stripes as well. What a babe!
I am so excited for you two. I just know Ben will land a great job, and Oregon would be awesome for your family. Close to the coast, so much hiking, biking, running...I know you guys will make a great decision. And if you go there, we will have to come see you. Keep us posted!

I hope that the interview went well and that you enjoyed your stay on the coast. Talk with you soon. (This is Shelley using Casey's identity.)
Yes Oregon is awesome and the southern part is even better. Seriously though I have pictures of me at the exact same place just a few days later. We love the Oregon Coast. Looking forward to seeing the three of you soon.
PS I need to talk to you, so call me before you get here.
So pretty, love the B&W pic and MARIA in the sand, it inspired me to do the same in Cali last week. Looks like you and Maria are having fun tagging along for interviews...enjoy the adventure!
