We made a SURPRISE visit to Utah last week for Mother's Day and a quick mtn. biking trip to Moab (Ben). I think we will try the surprise option again sometime...the reactions and looks on everyones' faces (yes, and the tears too!) were priceless!
While Ben was getting sunburned and breaking his bike (luckily on the last day) in Moab, Maria and I hung out with our families in O-Town and I even got a night out with my girlfriends (thanks for being true!)
We went to the Dinosaur Park and The Treehouse Museum, got worked in a real sculpt and kick-box class (as opposed to the OR basement classes with the gals), had the yearly Mother's Day breakfast at Seth and Mandy's and even got to see my sister Katie and nephew Winston who came into town from St. Lious.
We especially loved spending time with our families and Maria loved being one of the 'cousins' (with W and with the other 9 in the UT Wallace clan).
Always a fun time and so much to miss when we leave.
Maria and her sweet Aunt Lizzy...Maria was all smiles when she saw Liz waiting at my parent's house on her computer at the kitchen counter waiting to Skype...great trick we played to get Liz to be at home when we got there unexpectedly.
Mark and his new lady friend: Norma Jean. The kiddies got lots of slobbery kisses thanks to this wild puppy.
Up and down the stairs they went.
Classic picture. Looks like the start of a wrestling match...Yes, there were some of those too. HAHAHA!
Check out the milk maids at The Treehouse Museum. Yep, this cow is anatomically correct. It even sprays milk (water, something like that).
Riding the dog...Norma is like a wild beast so it works.

Oh how these pictures bring a tear to my eye and such joy to my heart! Please make another surprise visit next week. It'd be amazing. And I'd be surprised! Sooo glad you came out to party with the cool kids. Love you my seester.
I see the mullet is coming in nicely on the babelet. Keep cultivating it. It is da bomb. Sorry I missed you guys when you were out here. We'll have to road trip up your way next year. Or you guys can come down for the Tour of California! CB
