We've slacked a bit in the blog department, but we've had a great summer ( I think it lasted a total of 4 weeks here in Corvallis). Here are a few pictures from our adventure to Mt. Rainier. It was our first attempt at tent camping with Maria...it was a disaster the first night, but it improved significantly the following night. A mattress in a tent equals an indoor trampoline to an 18 month old girl apparently...even at 1:00am. Mom and Dad just happened to be additional toys in the funhouse...also fun to pile drive at 1:00am...it was a long night to say the least.
The next day we summited Rainier. Almost. Well, not even close actually, but we had a nice hike and it wore Maria out.

OMG!! I am freaking out!! Have you looked at maria in the last photo? Gorgeous! And can you say she looks about 2 years older than she is? Seriously, I cant believe how big my baby is getting :( Mt. Rainier is beautiful. Maybe you can take me there sometime for some Toast.
Looks amazing! Tenting it with kids is quite the adventure. I've come to learn that 1st night = awful, 2nd night = so so, and by the third night the kids are so exhausted that they sleep like champs.
i love these pictures!! so cute of all of you. and that maria! oh, she is the best. i miss you!
