Enjoying a few days in Sun Valley, ID with Lesli and Art...who then graciously took Maria back to UT with them so Maria could have her own little vacation with Grandmas and Grandpas (thanks Mom, Dad, Lesli and Art) and all of her aunts, uncles and Wallace COUSINS!

Ben and I had our first vaca since becoming parents!
Much needed.
Sun Valley is beautiful. Great mountain biking trails and bike paths, superb food, fun shops, perfect vacation rental with sweet pools and huge hot tubs, even a movie at the Opera House. Time to challenge yourself doing the things you love and then time to do nothing. That's what I call a good vacation.
One day Ben rode up to the top of Sun Valley Resort. I took the gondola and lift up. (I know, pretty wimpy, but we had a pretty grueling ride - at least for me - the day before and my war wounds needed some healing time.) I wanted some Meg time, and Ben wanted some mountain biking time, so that is what we did: what we wanted...Ben on his bike and me chilling for a few hours.
Serenity now.
After our trip in Bend and Sun Valley, we continued onto Utah for my cousin Ang's wedding. Congratulations Ang and Greg. Glad we could be a part of all of the wedding bliss and help make it happen!

Ha Ha! I love Serenity now! Don't we all need it? It looks magnificent. I'm still sad it didn't work out for a family trip. Maybe next year. P.S.- YOU. LOOK. BEAUTIFUL. (not you Ben :)
