Start 'em young

I grew up skiing, and so did Ben.
We love to ski and we really hope that we can ski together as our family grows. I attempted to teach Maria last year, and she enjoyed it enough to practically fall asleep on her way down the hill. This year, was a bit more challenging, but equally as rewarding.
We took the kiddos (Winston - my sister's boy and Maria) skiing two 1/2 days, and I think, overall, they really liked it.
It didn't hurt that the sun was out and it was warm and oh, so beautiful!
We (Katie, Ben and I) took all the help we could get to teach W and M some basic skills. My Mom and Ben's step-dad Art were a huge help. Oh, and on Saturday, all of Maria's Wallace cousins (all 13 of the that can ski!) were there for some positive peer pressure and encouragement!
