The boys did another race, this one on a mountain bike.

Test Of Endurance

Ben and his buddies did the 50 mile distance and Jake did the 100 mile distance.

Jake was pretty much a celebrity bc he was an out-of-towner and "brought his good Utah weather" with him.

It was a great day - hot for us Oregonians.

Fun to have Whitney and Jake there too.

To remember: Whit took Jake to Blodgett (approx 35 min drive) for his race to start at 6am.  We went back to see Ben start at 10, then back again for them to finish around 3.  We did a LOT of driving on race day.  The support girls (Meg, Whit, Mar, Ross, Mal) went to the Farmer's Market during the race to get lunch, check out the market and play in the fountains.  It was the hottest day this year!  After the race, we picked up some yummy Thai takeout from The Woodsman.   Great, long day for everyone.
