Visitors from Utah and NYC
Aunt Nancy and Uncle Mike, and Ang and Greg came for a visit.
It was Mike and Nancy's first time to see us, G and A's second.

We flew kites and Mike slaved over a new crappy kite of Maria's and eventually just threw it out. Most of us fell asleep in a pile on the beach bc it was so warm and nice.
We had a day in Portland and did Powell's (which they all loved), ate at the carts, went to Voodoo Doughnuts.
It was so great to have them come visit. They did A LOT of driving in about 6 days, and it was so nice of them to make a detour to see us. I have always been close to Mike and Nance. Ben and I used to go to their house in No. Ogden and just hang with them and talk and talk and talk - usually with popcorn and green apples and salt. It seems that now that we are in Oregon, the visits are fewer, but I have been known to show up (and stay) late, doing the same thing we used to do: talk and talk with Mike and Nance. I miss those days.
Thanks for coming to visit. You are welcome anytime. M and N, you passed your grandparent training with flying colors! Thanks for watching the kids so we could go out.
