Mr and Mrs Wallace took a raincheck on an anniversary trip this year - with a 6 month old an all, we thought it was a good idea to hold off. Soooo, instead we went to the Portland Zoo a couple days after the big 10 year wedding anniversary date.
Can you see the black bear up in the tree. It climbed up so fast, and back down even faster. It is about 1.5 inches above Ben's head in the pic in the tree.
Maria loved petting the bunnies and goats at the petting zoo.
Our little ground hog (or something like that).
Leave it to Maria to have to ride the poor thing.
*Note to self: The Portland Zoo is quite impressive, but the drive is NOT. It took us almost 3 hours to get home due to traffic. Spent more time (a lot more) in the car than at the zoo, but the kidlets slept on the drive, and Maria keeps talking about how she went to the zoo 'yesterday.'
