First Day of Preschool

September 2012

 Miss Maria had her first official day of Preschool on September 18, 2012.

She picked out her own new school outfit, including her bracelet and hair clippy.

Maria was so excited to go.  I think she was more excited to go than I was to let her go.

I cried the whole way out to the car!

Likes to say she is "2" or "5" years old

Dances all over the house all day

Prefers skirt and dresses over shorts and pants

Likes to pick out her own clothes, shoes and hair styles and supplies each day

Has two favorite (and very well-worn) dresses: a lady bug dress and a floral hand-me-down from Evie and Bella (3rd generation dress for M)

Loves princess anything - which is funny, because we only own one princess movie: Tangled

Says she has blonde hair like Rapunzel

Likes anything Hello Kitty

Loves LOOOOVVVVES her sister, sometimes (most times) TOO much

Is a Daddy's girl all the way

Is amazed by the moon

Has a favorite car: the Mini Cooper

Plays Slug Bug and Mini Love in the car to guess their colors (we made up Mini Mini Mini Love, Can you guess the color of?)

Has an impressive memory for roads we travel on and people we meet

Started taking 'Ballet class' (really just a Creative Movement class)

Is potty trained thru the night (FINALLY!) 

Is taking Level 2 swim classes right now

Really likes to dress up

Sings "Happy Birthday to you" on a regular basis, usually to Garrett or his dad Eric (random...)

Is a backseat driver, telling me when to turn and stop and go

Misses her cousins terribly and talks about them daily

Pulls faces all the time and still does the zombie eyes thing anytime we are Skyping

Best friend the last few months are Hadley, Ellie, Maya and Allie (tho much older), and her wrestling buddy Garrett
