Malan seems to be growing so fast - even though she is still a little bug. Or Bird. Or Monster. All terms that we use when talking to our sweet baby.
She likes to growl (hence the nickname Baby Monster) and makes these silly chirp-like sounds too (hence the nickname Baby Bird).
She likes to feed herself and just stares, STARES at you when you are eating in front of her. She won't give a sippy cup the time of day, but really likes to drink from a cup if I give her the chance.
Malan is the second little fishy in the Wallace family! She and I just finished the little Waterbabies class and I think Malan thoroughly enjoyed it - at least she smiled all the time and never fought back when I dunked her (all the time).
She crawls like she is trying to escape the cops and kicks/runs with her little legs when she is held.
Her favorite person is still Maria.
Malan still loves to cuddle and I am a sucker lately to let her sleep in my bed in the mornings - oh, I want to remember he little angelic face when she sleeps forever. I can't ever get enough of it.
She stands on her own and walks along everything, and insists on standing in the bathtub...hmmmm.
I love to hear Maria when Malan is standing or trying to walk. Maria will say, "Ohhhh my goooodness. Oh my goodness!" just about every time Malan stands for a bit. It is so dang cute.
Her mullet hair is growing in nicely and starting to flip up and curl.
Has a second tooth coming in.
She loves to like everything...especially feet, the floor, the oven door and shoes
Her dimples are amazing. Oh they make me smile no matter what.
She loves to "honk" my nose and do a "blow fish" on my face or cheeks or arm any (and every) chance she gets. It is kind of funny actually. I will think she is asleep on my shoulder, with our faces touching, and then she will blow on my face...so random and funny.
Malan is really ticklish on her sternum and her armpits. Her laugh is to die for! It isn't really loud or powerful - just little bird like, and it is so so cute.
