Happy Birthday Malan!
Our Little Bird turned TWO!
I think that Maria and I were more excited about Malan's birthday than she was. Malan has been singing 'Happy Birthday' to everyone the past couple months, and now it was finally her turn. She loved hearing her name sung...and we sang to her all day long!
We decided to have a bird themed party, since Malan is still so bird like.
As per our genetics, we were inclined to have a pinata, and Maria picked out a fantastic penguin 'bird' for the party, and even buckled the pinata up in the carseat for the drive home!
Malan has a lot of people that love her. She brings smiles to some many people's faces and she gives her hugs and kisses to so many, and it is sure to brighten you day.
We made an OREO cake (it was a-mazingly delish!) and had dirt cups with bird food (gummy worms) in them.
Jared Hale played the piano as all of us sang Happy Birthday to our Birthday girl.
I felt so much love in that room for such a little girl.
