Thanks to Family Fun mag for this idea, and all the other Easter craft ideas that we tried this year (egg tie-dying, paper egg paining with shaving cream, and the bird seed eggs).

I must include that Malan thought the eggs should be eaten once they were on display as a table centerpiece. The birdseed eggs were very sticky (thanks to the gelatin), and as soon as she stuck them in her mouth the seeds got all gooey and stuck all over her.  She had guilty written all over her in seeds.
