From the Cookie Monster

It's Friday night, I am home alone and should be just trying to get over my bad cold, but instead I am listening to some good tunes and making some to die for cookies that I have been craving! As you know, I love to make cookies, and when I find a good recipe, I use it, ALOT. This recipe is fabulous and the cookies always turn out perfect and they never seem to dry out.
Enjoy- from the Cookie Monster herself

Andrea Callister's Cookies (She is an exceptional cook!!)
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
2 Cups Ground Oatmeal
1 1/2+ Cups Flour
1/2 of a 7 oz. Symphony Bar (blue one with toffee)
2 Cup Choc. Chips

Bake @ 350 for 10-12 min
*I mix it up a bit and use different kinds of chips...as you can see.

Megan! I have an almost identical recipe, we call them "everything nice cookies" and I crave them all the time too, like right now for example. Thanks a lot for the post, here it is midnight and I'm gonna have to go whip up a batch of these.

Those look so good! I just made my favorite choc. chip oatmeal recipe over the weekend, I'll have to try this one. I'm a big cookie fan as well (or any treat for that matter).

Crazy! The other day while I was eating oatmeal for breakfast, I thought to myself "I should make some oatmeal cookies". There it was, right on your blog. I whipped these babies up and pretty much ate all of them in a matter of days. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
