Thought or Question of the Day (ToQotD)

A little something new for the blog. I have all these questions and ideas in my head at times, and I thought I would get some of them out, you know, share them with all of you. In doing so, I can get some answers to things I want to know or suggestions with things I may need help with. I also get so share a good thought...or something like it (maybe a funny little something).

Q: Since moving to the forest, I am not getting as much sun as I used to and with the colder weather on its way, I won't be getting any more sun anytime soon. I feel like I need a little stardust to sprinkle on myself each day to feel a bit more alive and vibrant...please say someone understand where I am coming from here! (NOW FOR MY QUESTION!) What skin product can I use to give me (ie, my face!) that extra little shimmer that I need? Oh, and yes, please I want some feedback!

For that extra shimmer I use E.L.F. bronzer. They have a website. All their make-up is pretty cheap and sometimes you can get free shipping.

We've been thinking about you guys. (My) Ben is thinking about going back to school. Maybe P.A.?

Bronzers are nice. I have used both Bare Minerals bronzer and Arbonne bronzer. Both a little pricey - but really nice products.

You look great, sun or not... I use Clinique bronzer. I wouldn't dare use tanning lotions personally because I'm afraid I wouldn't get it even and natural looking.

Two suggestions:
1. Use an exfoliator 2-3 times a week. That always leaves my skin smoother and more "radient", if you will.
2. Like the other comments, go for a bronzer. I use both a Clinique bronzer (that I scored in one of the "gifts" and still have not purchased in a full size) or the Bare Minerals bronzer. They seem to last forever, so the hefty pricetag isn't so bad when it last for months+ at a time.

The walmart brand hint of sun lotion. It's the knock-off of Jergens hint of sun. It's so minimal that you can use it daily, and it gives you a sun kissed glow in a day or two without make-up. But I like to a little brozer to the mix. The covergirl bronzer is fine and it's cheap, but apply it with a bigger powder brush.
