The mist has moved back to it's "winter perch" over our house as of yesterday morning (well, it showed it's face until about noon) and it has rained A LOT. I guess that means the second of Oregon's two seasons is fast upon us: the RAINY season.
It is good that we have been able to spend some time outside enjoying the weather and one last weekend of camping before the real Oregon weather hits... I just can't get over the fact that it is getting so cool so fast. One (maybe two!) months of warm weather is not enough for me!

I am realizing more and more that Maria is very much like her Daddy. I have noticed a couple new things over the past month to prove my point.
Exhibit A: Maria rubs her index and middle fingers together when she is thinking or possibly nervous (as does Ben).
Exhibit B: Maria LOVES bacon. Yep, this is bacon fat hanging out of her mouth. She gnawed on it for quite a while. Ben kept saying, "It's the best part!"
Exhibit C: Maria loves to be on her little bike or riding in the bike trailer. She will bring me (or Ben) my bike helmet and shoes then put her helmet on and go sit in her bike trailer until she gets her ride. So cute.

Little do you know but pooky is a lot like her aunty L as well. However, I do not enjoy bacon fat in the least!
i love every single picture and everything about this post. oh, maria is so cute. and so big. she's like a woman already! like a midget woman, or something. too, too cute. miss her. and you too.
These are such fun photos. And the writing is fun too! Thanks for keeping me up to date, it is so fun to see how Maria is growing and how you are such a great Mom. What a blessing!
