Strawberry Fields Forever

Look how pretty they are!

Maria eating one of her many strawberry samples from her bucket.
Even stealing some from my friend Becky's bucket!
(Ellie and Maria)
We train them to pick at a young age, when it is fun!

The sun is finally visiting Corvallis for more than one day at a time, and the fields are showing it!
Today we went to the pick strawberries for the third time in two weeks.
Oh, these Oregon strawberries are absolutely delicious!!! They are small and so juicy, just delightful.
We have made freezer jam and shelf (ya know they kind you cook) jam, and eaten enough berries to do us it. Ben even met up with us for a few minutes today. He said, "Oh, so this is what you do?" Yes, this is how we roll.
Bring on the raspberries and blueberries!

I am laughing at the irony of this post because I just bought Maria (or you) a little gift on our trip to Island Park. I came across this awesome and authentic antique market last friday and saw something that made me immediately think of you and maria in those gorgeous berry fields. I will send it soon so you are in on the irony. love the pics by the way and miss you lots!
