Discovery Gateway

Liz, Maria, Malan and I went to Discovery Gateway while in Utah.  The girls had a great time playing in the Beehive and the birdhouse, and especially in the KSL studio and the play store.

Since Maria lives to dress-up and play pretend, the theater was a highlight for her as well.

Maria really got into making up, or having me make up, stories to go along with the silly costumes and backdrops.

I think this is maybe a Yoda or Shrek costume.
Whatever she was supposed to be, we all got a good laugh. 

These two just ran around. Maria made up this story as they played.
Malan just kept trying to attack her sister, and I thought Maria would
pee her pants bc she was laughing so hard. 

"Once upon a time there was a piggy that got lost in the woods.
A flying frog tried to catch her and help her find her way home."
(Note from the Mom:  If I could have bottled up this experience and have it
again each day, I would.  The sounds of my girls giggling and squealing
with joy was one I hope to not soon forget.)

The story continues.  Little froggy is still flying around trying to catch Piggy -
who kept oinking and laughing. 

Maria was helped next by the leopard that just kept falling down.

And for a bit more entertainment:

Maria was all about the different store duties: weighing cheese, making deli
sandwiches, restocking shelves, wearing the apron, pretend talking
to customers and the whole bit.

Driving with Aunt Lizzy.
Malan kept playing with the gas hose and climbing all over the car.

Thanks Liz for coming along for the fun and taking pictures and making that funny movie with the toys and Potato Heads and for the sweeet screeching sound effects at the end.
