Old Salmon River Trail from the Road
Scenic drive thanks to sleeping kids and a lot of land to discover.
This was quite the drive! There are trails and new areas to see and explore every time we go to Welches. Ben had gone on an early morning run on some trails that took off from this road. We drove to explore a bit and it was pretty amazing. The mist was low and the rain was light. The Salmon River was flowing high and the trees and moss were pretty wild to see. The pictures don't do it justice. The last picture is blurry, but pretty true to the experience from my seat in the car. I'll do this scenic drive any day.
