Happy Easter

 
 
Easter is always a beautiful and thought-provoking holiday for me. It is a time for new birth and spring flowers and gives me an excuse to think more seriously about things that I may not always think about (ie the resurrection of Jesus Christ). In church on Easter, one of the speakers used Elder Wirthlin's talk "Sunday Will Come" that spoke about the Atonement and Resurection of Christ and about how each of us has "Fridays" in our lives but that "Sunday" will come and we will live and be strenghtened again, through the sacrifices Christ made for each one of us. We went to Art and Lesli's (Ben's mom) house for an Easter feast (literally, Jodi even cooked lamb...Yep, they don't mess around when it comes to cooking!) and hung out with the family. We attempted to take some pictures of Maria in her Easter dress (from Spain - thanks Audra!).
