Loving

Some things I want to remember:
Maria's immense love for her Daddy.
Each day she waits by the door for Ben to come home, and has all kinds of things to tell him and show him.

Yesterday when we were walking into the store this conversation occurred:
Maria: Mommy, my tummy hurts?
Meg: Oh really, why?
Maria: Because I really miss my Daddy!

Each morning when Maria gets up she usually asks about two things: the baby in mommy's tummy and "Where's Daddy?" I tell her he is at work. And she always replies, ".....Ohhh ok. My Daddy taking care of sick poopees (aka people)?"

When we drive on the road that passes the hospital, Maria does this little cheer (while tooting her make-believe train horn): "Daddy's wurk, Daddy's wurk, woot, woot, woot!" This is followed by her laughing like the cheer is the greatest thing she has ever heard, or this line: "Dat funny."

So cute of Maria.
So cute of her Dad.
They just love love love each other so.

Congratulations on the new babe coming! I love having my girls together- they are such good little buddies now! ( and they are both complete daddys girls like maria) I'm so exited for you and I hope you have had an ok pregnancy. Too bad you don't live closer- our babies will be so close in age! I miss you- hope all is good!
