Miss Malan is already 2 months!
-stats: 10 pounds 5.5 ounces (40 percentile),
22.5 inches (50 percentile)
-still looks a lot like her sister Maria, with dimples on each cheek (like her Momma) and funny toes (like her Daddy)
-is a pretty mellow baby, unless her tummy is especially upset, which is common, especially in evenings
-prefers to sleep on her tummy
-likes the binky sometimes
-loves to snuggle
-has very soft skin
-spits up A LOT!
-loves the shower...more than the bath
-rolls up onto her side
-has a pretty impressive serious look
-pulls hair
-seems to be most happy in the middle of the night after feedings
(She smiles and kicks and does her little excited sounds where she sucks in a bunch of air - I love it!)
-has the sweetest 'almost sneezing' sound/sigh that usually occurs after sneeze #3
-loves her big sister...she gets so excited in the mornings when Maria comes in to greet her. ("Helllloooooo Baby Malan! GooMorning! GooMorning! GooMorning!")
Oh, I think she is a little beauty.

Personal reflection: I feel like I have had more time to appreciate and oooh and awww at my baby this time around, and I very much appreciate having the energy to do so. I am so grateful that I am able to sit in a chair and rock my baby to sleep as I watch her little eyes droop into slumber. Really, there is nothing like it: just sitting back and watching. I am really trying to soak it all in.

Oh how i miss her!
She does have such a serious look on her face most of the time. It will be fun to see the changes that come in a few months when she really smiles and laughs. Nice work with THE lens.
